Selected work

The service

I turn floor plans into exterior visuals for new developments, and specialise in bringing historic facades back to life.

Most buyers decide on a new building long before they can stand in front of it. The exterior is usually the first image they see, on the site hoarding, the brochure cover and the listing, so it has to be both believable and attractive. I build the model from your floor plans and elevations, whether DWG files, PDFs or sketches, set it in its real street with the neighbours, trees and traffic around it, and choose the angle, light and time of day that show the architecture at its best.

Historic buildings are my speciality. I have rebuilt early 1900s Budapest apartment houses such as Visegrádi 17 and Alkotmány 27 from archive blueprints and current photos, to show owners and investors what a restoration would bring back before any work starts.

Process

From brief to delivery

  1. 01

    Brief and inputs

You send the floor plans and elevations (DWG, PDF or sketches), a site photo or two and any material references. I confirm the views, the mood and the deadline in writing.

    Day 1
  2. 02

    Model and clay preview

I build the 3D model and send untextured clay views of the proposed camera angles, so the composition is agreed before any detailing starts.

    2 to 4 working days
  3. 03

    Materials and lighting

Facade materials, glazing, landscaping and lighting go in. You get a colour preview at working resolution for the first round of comments.

    2 to 3 working days
  4. 04

    Final renders

Once the last round of comments is in, I render the final images at 4K and deliver them with a short usage note.

FAQ

3D Exterior, answered

How much does a 3D exterior visualization cost?

A single exterior view starts at €450, a set of three views at €1,200 and a six-view development package at €2,400. The price depends on how many views you need, how much of the surroundings I model and whether the plans exist as DWG files. Every quote is fixed before I start.

What do you need from me to start an exterior rendering?

DWG or PDF floor plans and elevations, a site photo or a map pin, and any material references such as a facade colour or a window supplier. If only sketches exist I can work from those too, with a little more modelling time.

Who do you make exterior visualizations for?

Mostly property developers marketing a new build or a renovation, who need the views for the hoarding, the brochure and the listing. I also work with architects presenting a competition entry or a planning application, and with owners and investors planning the restoration of a historic building.

How long does an exterior rendering take?

It depends on the size of the building and how much of the street around it I model. As a guide, a single view takes 5 to 10 working days from the brief to the final image, a three-view set 2 to 3 weeks and a six-view package 3 to 5 weeks, clay preview and revisions included.

Can you visualize a historic building before its renovation?

Yes. Digital restoration is my speciality. I rebuild the facade from archive blueprints and current photos and show it restored, as I did for Alkotmány 27 and Visegrádi 17 in Budapest.

How many revision rounds are included?

One to three, depending on the package: one for a single hero view, two for the facade set and three for the development package. The first round happens on the clay preview, where we agree the camera angle and the composition, the others on the colour preview. Further changes are billed by the hour.

In what format and resolution are the images delivered?

Final images come as 4K JPG files, which cover print brochures, listings and the web. Larger resolutions for billboards and large-format print are available on request.

Do you work with developers outside Vienna?

Yes. I work remotely for clients in Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest and Prague and anywhere in the EU. Plans, previews and comments travel by email and a shared folder, so no site visit is needed.

Can the exterior views be combined with interiors, a 360 tour or a website?

Yes, and most launches do. The same model feeds the interior views and the 360 tour, and the images land directly in the promo website, so a bundled project is cheaper and more consistent than ordering each piece separately.
