Budapest Alkotmány 27
Secession (Art Nouveau) revival in Budapest pt. 1

Reviving Budapest's Secessionist Architecture in Budapest through 3D visualizations. The Alkotmány 27 building is a historic Secessionist-style building located in a prime location close to the Parliament building in Budapest. It was designed by architect Imre Benes and completed in 1903. Despite its current state of disrepair, the building has significant potential for renovation and reuse due to its stunning design and location. As a 3D artist, I had the opportunity to virtually reconstruct the building and showcase its beauty and potential through 3D visualizations. We'll explore how this building could be revitalized and repurposed for modern use, and the benefits of preserving and restoring historic buildings. We will also examine the importance of preserving old buildings and the benefits of doing so, such as reducing waste, saving energy, and creating new economic opportunities. Through my work, I hope to inspire architects, developers, and citizens to appreciate and invest in the historic buildings that make Budapest a unique and vibrant city.

The current state
Despite its current state of disrepair, the building close to the Parliament has significant potential for renovation and reuse due to its stunning details and location.

Before & after
Adapting old buildings for modern use is a challenging task, but restoring them can preserve the city's character, create new opportunities and reduce waste as opposed to building a new one.

3D renovation
By creating 3D models based on historical photos, documents, and architectural plans, it is possible to recreate the building's original appearance and character.

Architectural heritage
Photorealistic representations of historic buildings can present the full potential of the project and attract potential buyers or investors, who value our architectural heritage.
